Whidbey Island Beckons.

The Tour de Whidbey is one of the most popular rides in all of Washington state. Travel the back roads of Whidbey Island for gorgeous vistas, breathtaking scenery and varied terrain! Join us for this wonderful event on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017.We are excited to let everyone know about a recent change to the Tour de Whidbey. The ride will begin and end at the Coupeville Elementary School. After the ride, head across the street to the Penn Cove Taproom! You can listen to music and enjoy delicious food, beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverages. They are offering $2 off a $10 purchase! Grab your coupon in the morning when you get your bib.

MBBC members, as well as members of the other clubs in the North Puget Sound Bike Alliance (Skagit Bicycle Club, BIKES Club of Snohomish County, Whidbey Island Bicycle Club) receive a $10 registration rebate the morning of the ride.

Riders have several routes to choose from, each with a hospitality break-station every 10-12 miles:

The Tour de Whidbey is not a race. Riders start and finish at their own pace. All roads are open to normal traffic.

Riders are asked to be courteous to local drivers and obey the rules of the road.

Participants are asked to ride in single file.

We recommend that each rider bring a cell phone for emergencies, a repair kit, and some warm, waterproof layers in case of inclement weather.
