Bike Travel Weekend is the first weekend in June. Here is a 3 day bike camping opportunity for you that is fairly easy with low elevation gain and some sections on gravel averaging ~40 miles/day. Full details of this event including day by day itinerary and other resources are available here: https://ridewithgps.com/events/214095-mbbc-bike-camping-btw-2023 .
I have campground reservations already and set this up as registration for two more tents at the same campsite. For your registration you can bring guests that will stay in the same tent. Campground costs will be split up between the campers. Once filled up you can email me if you want to make your own reservations or use the hiker/biker sites that are available at both campgrounds. Shower facilities are also available both nights. This is a great opportunity to try out your gear for the season or for a first time bike camping trip with others. I planned trips like this with my prior club and always enjoyed our adventures. My bike will be a Gunnar Rock Tour with 47mm tires. I would suggest a minimum of 32mm with 35mm or wider preferable. I hope there are a few other bike campers out there. It is important that you are self-sufficient with bringing all your own gear (I will have a full set of panniers) and food for breakfast and dinner at camp. We will eat lunch out along the way. Email or text for more information. Bike Travel Weekend is promoted by Adventure Cycling Associaton
